Those eligible for reduced fare include:
• Persons with disabilities –DMT or CUMTD Disability ID required
• Children 46" through middle school
• Full time High School or full time DACC students – Current school ID required
• Veteran – Current VA identification card required
• Medicare cardholders - DMT photo ID required

Free transfers are issued at time fare is paid, except in the transfer zone, for connections to other routes.  Transfers allow a passenger to make a complete one-way trip and are not intended to allow a passenger to make a return trip to the point of origin.

6:00 am - 5:20 pm Monday through Friday and :00 am through 4:30 pm on Saturday
• DACC – Cashier’s Office
• Bratlands Prescription Shop, 8 E. North
• Old National Bank, 2 W. Main and 2431 N. Vermilion
• Veterans Administration Medical Center – Canteen
• First National Bank, 1 Towne Center and 901 N. Gilbert.

**JARC tickets are only available at DMT Offices, 101 N. Jackson, Danville. IL and Illinois Terminal, 45 E. University Ave., Champaign, IL

Tickets are also available by mail at 101 N. Jackson St.

Route/Schedule Information

Telephone Information: 431-0653, 5 am to 6:45 pm weekdays, and 7:30 am to 5:45 pm Saturdays
Route/Schedule brochure available at ticket sales locations, City Hall, 17 W. Main and aboard buses

Service operates 5:45 am to 6:45 pm weekdays and 8:15 am to 5:45 pm Saturdays.
No service is provided on Sundays or the following holidays:
New Year’s Day • Martin Luther King Jr. Day • Memorial Day • Fourth of July • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day

Bus Stops

Buses will stop only at locations designated by DMT bus stop signs, except on 9 Georgetown and 13 Tilton, where stops will be made at any intersection where it is safe to do so.

Accessible Services

Buses are accessible for persons using wheelchairs and other mobility devices. For persons unable to use regular transit service, paratransit (curb to curb) service is available. Eligibility for the paratransit service is determined by guidelines in the ADA. Requests for certification should be made to the DMT office.

Tickets for paratransit rides are 5 for $6, (fares south of Tilton are higher) and are available only at the DMT offices. To obtain paratransit rides, certified riders should call 217-443-2999 at least 1 day in advance.

Danville Mass Transit operates service without regard to race, color, or national origin. Any person who would like further information or feels that there is cause for complaint in the provision of service may call the Director to review the obligations of transit operators or file a complaint.
